LS is the seasonal indicator. This tool will convert Julian Dates into the seasonal indicator, a value for the date of the year that is compatible with KRC.

Directions on Using the LS Tool:

  1. Use the drop-down menu to pick a date. Valid for years: 1607 to 2143.
  2. Once you change the drop-down menu to your desired date, the "Approximate Input" next to the drop-down menu will change.
  3. Take this input and enter it into the "Date Input" bar.
  4. Adjust the precision using the "Precision" drop-down menu.
The precision changes the mean, standard deviation and minimum and maximum offset error allowed by the Tool
  1. Click submit.
